Limonite (hematite) rotary kiln is a type of industrial equipment specialized in calcining iron ores.
Through high-temperature calcination, it can remove water, volatile matter and impurities from iron ore, improve iron grade and make it more suitable for iron making or direct reduced iron (DRI) production.
01Rotating cylinder:Iron ore enters from the high end and gradually moves to the low end with the rotation of the cylinder.
02High-temperature calcination: Fuel is burned to produce high-temperature flue gas, which is exchanged with the material in the cylinder.
03DReduction Reaction: In a high temperature environment, limonite and hematite undergo a reduction reaction to remove water, volatiles and impurities and increase iron grade.
