Bauxite rotary kiln is a type of industrial equipment specially used for calcining bauxite.
Through high-temperature calcination, it can remove water, organic matter and impurities in bauxite, increase its alumina content, and provide high-quality raw materials for the subsequent production of alumina by the Bayer method or sintering method.
01Rotating cylinder:Bauxite enters from the high end and gradually moves to the low end with the rotation of the cylinder.
02High-temperature calcination: Fuel is burned to produce high-temperature flue gas, which is exchanged with the material in the cylinder.
03Dehydration and decomposition: In a high temperature environment, water, organic matter and impurities are removed from the bauxite, while the aluminum hydroxide (Al(OH)3) in the bauxite decomposes into aluminum oxide (Al2O3).

The calcination temperature can be accurately controlled by adjusting fuel supply and air flow.
